SolomonSydelle has written an article titled THE NIGERIAN PROCLAMATION . It expresses discontent about the recent election fiasco and the state of Nigerian affairs in general.

Today May 29th will be the first time Nigeria has witnessed the transition of power from one democratic administration to another. The recent elections were severely criticized for not being fair and free. We bloggers are unified in our disgust and disappointment with recent and ongoing political events.

Hey do you guys remember Bisi and Ofon?!?!?!!?! Well, they sealed their engagement with their wedding vows earlier on this month and the pictures are out. They are WOW!!! LOL!!

You can have a peek at their Bridal Shower, Singles Night Out, Wedding Ceremony, Wedding Reception pictures as well as their Honeymoon Pictures in their PICTURE ALBUM.

A Word of Caution - That 'peek' at the pictures had better not be taken while you are at work cos your supervisor or manager will certainly catch you in the act using 'company time' for other business. The pictures are entralling and mind you - with nearly 1000 pictures to view, there's no reason why anyone would not be entralled. Happy Viewing!

A BIG hearty Congratulations to you both Bisi and Ofon. May your union be blessed for ever and ever and May the pitter patter of little feet be heard in your home pretty soon. lol!!

Onset of Old Age?

Could Old Age be catching up with me? Picked up the Bathroom Cleaner and sprayed the toilet bowl and only realised my mistake when I picked up the Toilet Duck to spread all over the bath tub. Thank God I came to my senses on time. Any one care to share their absent minded experiences?!?!?

I must admit my heart was in my mouth during the entire match. First Half gone, no goals. Second Half still no goals. Towards the 90th minute, I was nudging my blues team in my heart to please score cos if the Reds beat them to it, then that would be the end of our dreams but alas - as at full time it was still Chelsea - nil, Man U - nil.

Extra time and boy did I jump when Drogba shot home that goal. It was more than welcome. Chelsea has achieved the feat of being the last team to win the FA Cup at the Old Wembley Stadium as well as winning the very first Match at the New Wembley Stadium.

We are leading

YES!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!! YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Chelsea 1 - Man United 0

We're taking home the FA Cup!! Just three minutes left. OLAWUNMI - I'm laughing and smiling and grinning and ......... lol!!!

Missing Madeleine

A Family torn apart.

“If you have any information on the whereabouts of Madeleine McCann please inform the police immediately. If you are holding Madeleine McCann please hand her over safely or leave her somewhere safe for someone to collect her.” - Words of Kate McCann - Madeleine's distraught mother.

It is now 11 days since the breakfast news report two fridays ago that toddler Madeleine McCann had been missing from her parent’s hotel apartment for some hours and a search was going on for her in Portugal. The entire family were on holiday and the parents had left Madeleine and her twin brother and sister asleep in their room while they went out to dinner checking on the kids intermittently during their meal. Alas, when her parents - Kate and Jerry McCann both medical doctors returned, she was gone from the apartment but her twin brother and sister were still there on their beds sleeping peacefully.

I must confess that my first thoughts were cynical and condemning. How could they leave 3 kids below the age of 3 in a foreign land all alone in a room while they went out to eat dinner? It was reported that there were babysitting facilities available at the family friendly resort where they were staying but yet they didn’t avail themselves the use of the babysitting facilities. It was probably a wrong judgment which they are paying for dearly right now. I can no longer condemn their actions as it could have equally have happened to any one of us.

An hour has turned into hours, hours into a day; a day has turned into days, days into a week and now it’s fast approaching a fortnight and little Madeleine is yet to be found. It is heart wrenching watching the strain, anguish and agony on her parents faces daily and the issue is no longer why they left their kids all alone but to help find the missing girl. They (her parents) must have berated themselves and blamed themselves many times over for that costly mistake of leaving their little kids all alone sleeping in the room while they went out to eat. The strain and agony on their faces is apparent daily for all to see as each day goes by with their daughter still remaining missing. They are truely suffering and in a lot of pain over this unfortunate incident.
Madeleine turned four years old on Saturday - still missing, yet to be found and apart from her distraught family. There are fears that she may have been abducted and her abducters may have attempted to change her recognitive features and her parents have asked everyone to look out for Madeleine's distictive recognitive features which is her iris which runs into her eyes.

If anyone knows any thing or any clue as to where Madeleine could be, please please come out and help the police in their investigations and help return Madeleine back to the loving and welcome arms of her parents and family where she rightly belongs. The Crimestoppers Phoneline is: 44 1883 731 336.
We must also put the McCann family in God's hands and pray for Madeleine's safe return.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "FUND FREE MAMMOGRAM" icon on their page for free (pink window in the middle of the page). This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising. Here is their Website:

World Bank President's Woes?

Can you beat this!?!?!?!? World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz may be dedicated to freeing the world from poverty - but he seems unable to afford a new pair of socks. Or is it a case of not having enough time to pop into the shops and get some new ones? Mr Wolfowitz's sartorial deficiencies were revealed when he took his shoes off while visiting a mosque in Edirne , Western Turkey. Both of the grey socks sported holes with his big toes peeking through. The last World Bank annual report for 2006 puts the president's salary as of 1 July, 2005 at $391,440 (£200,279).
Why Get Married: Men Lie Women Cheat has a heart wrenching story. Check it out HERE.
I weighed myself today and my weight still remains 85KG. Thank God at least I havent gained since the last time even if I havent lost anymore. So my ticker remains stationary in the interim. I'll try and be more dedicated this month and get the ticker to move a liitle bit to the right by the end of this month. Have a lovely weekend folks.
