Group Falsely Petition Cross River Surveyor General Over Money Laundering

The Chairman of the Cross River State House of Assembly Committee on Judiciary, Public Service Matters, Public Petitions and Conflict Resolution Dr Elucate Ekom revealed over the weekend that his committee had received an allegation of money laundering against the State Surveyor General Mr Oku.

Speaking to correspondents, the Obubra 2 representative stated that until the facts of the money laundering petition are investigated by his committee, they remained allegations but that his committee would conduct a thorough investigation.

The Surveyor General Mr Eyo Oku said he could not comment on the petition as the contents of petition had not been made  known to him and he would respond thoroughly to the money laundering allegations.
