Calabar Carnival 2016: "Climate Change" Theme Unveiled

The Cross River State (CRS) government unveiled the theme of the 2015 Calabar Carnival at a star studded ceremony which took place at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Sunday 22nd November 2015.

The theme of the 2015 carnival was unveiled as "Climate Change".  The governor said the carnival had been restyled with a Bikers Day and Disco Fiesta being introduced to give the carnival new life.

The star studded event was attended by members of the Corporate World, representatives from the American Embassy, Celebrities which included Senator Florence Ita Giwa who spoke at the event, Ebony TV;s Mo Abudu, actors and actresses which included John Okafor aka Mr Ibu, Eyinna Nwigwe and Elvis Chuks.


Musicians Blackky, Waje, Patoranking, Olu Maintain, KCee and Iyanya were also at the event.  Iyanya was appointed an Ambassador to the CRS government and the face of the state at the event.
