The Adventures of Peter Pan!!!
I had to hurriedly make a trip to Calabar yesterday. Annoyingly, we spent two hours trying to get out of Port Harcourt but little did I know that my troubles were yet to begin. In summary, I left Port Harcourt (PHC) by 10am and very luckily made Calabar by 6pm (8hrs). Even if na Lagos...
Just after the Itu Bridge we got to know that part of the expressway was covered by over flowing waters from the river and you would have several options:
- Return to where you come from;
- Wait hours late into the night when the waters would hopefully subside; or
- Cross to the other side of the express way in a dug-out canoe!
As I learnt, people were there much after 12 midnight to the early hours of the morning.
