Still On The Matter - The State Of The Akpapuyo Ikang Road

In the aftermath of the commissioning of the Super highway, a Concerned citizen - Daniel Agbor writes to the CRS Governor Ben Ayade asking him to also look into the deplorable state of  roads in the state....

As the media hype of the purported superhighway gradually winds down to close amidst speculations of a revisit or plans for a better event of the ground breaking ceremony of the superhighway, permit me to bring to your notice the present conditions of our roads in pics. The pictures below is the road to Akpabuyo where government generates huge revenue from Unicem. This condition is evident in all the roads in the state.

The plights of the masses is not considered as government task force on motor bike have made it a point of duty to impound motor bikes within Atimbo axis which is the easiest and convenient means of plying the route.

Is the government people friendly or a bane to the people?

To further heighten this inhuman practices is the activities of the law enforcement agencies: the police, SARS, immigration, road safety and the so called government task force who specialises in receiving monies as settlement and other sundry charges.
God help us.
