13 Year Old Raises Over £235,000 for Cancer Research - And Receives An Award From The Queen!

This is Jonjo Heuerman and he is 13 years old and he has raised nearly £250,000 for Bobby Moore Cancer Research Fund.  Nearly 7 years ago, Jonjo's grandmother died of bowel cancer.  Her death inspired him to run and cycle thousands of miles all over Britain and raise funds for cancer research.

Jojo is the youngest ever recipient of the award.

So far, he has raised over £235,000 and the funds are still growing.   Jonjo was awarded a British Empire Medal in the Queen's New Year Honours List for his efforts in rasing funds for cancer research.  Jonjo's next fundraising is in March 2016 and he will be cycling from Germany to Wembley Stadium in Britain to raise money for Bobby Moore Cancer Research fund.

Kudos to him! This goes to show you are never too young to achieve your dreams and goals.
