Calabar Carnival 2015: Donald Duke Presents Bikers Award To Governor Ben Ayade

2015 Calabar Carnival was fun filled and successful. We will be bringing you intermittent spotlights from the Carnival.  One of the spotlights was at the Bikers Day where current Governor Prof Ben Ayade displayed humility in leadership.  

Governor Ayade was presented with an award by the Bikers Association of Nigeria - a group which boasts former governor and founder of the Calabar Carnival, Mr. Donald Duke as one of its reverred members.  

Moved by the award, Governor Ayade personally presented another award to Mr. Donald Duke for the great initiatives of creating the Calabar Carnival which sees Ayade having the privilege of gathering people around the world to celebrate. It was like saying, "Sir, you planted and I am here to water, knowing God will keep making it grow.

According to one of his aides Inok Solomon, 

"Like Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.…"
